JR is a composer/violinist and the founder of Queertet, LA’s LGBTQ string quartet. A graduate of USC’s Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program, they have written music for film, web series, podcasts, theater, dance. Recent projects include the NY Times Op-Doc “The Monument” about Stonewall’s 50th anniversary and the animated film “Curtains” by Criminal Minds’ Kirsten Vangsness.
